AP coding does not allow indicating 1099 eligible at the line level

Needed for 1099 tracking purposes. For example, Time is 1099 eligible; Expenses are not.

What is the use case?
  • HSG (Sage Intacct customer) receives invoices from consultants that contain both Time and Expenses.

  • Time is 1099 eligible for tax reporting but Expenses are not - Expenses are just reimbursed to the consultant/vendor.

  • They would like to be able to indicate at the line level coding whether a line is 1099 eligible or not.

Impact?

High - currently the client is "following" the invoice as it Posts into Intacct and updating the bill with line-level 1099 coding.

Is there a work around?

Yes - "follow" the invoice in Sage after the document gets Posted and update the line level coding with 1099 eligible checkbox in there.

Proposed solution?

Similar format to how the Billable field is codeable at the line level, HSG would like the ability to check a 1099 field at the line level.

    In backlog here: https://centime1.aha.io/epics/CPB-E-768

One note on current behavior: if the vendor is configured as 1099 eligible in Intacct, when a bill syncs from Centime-->Intacct for that vendor, the lines should autopopulated with the 1099 box checked.

Sahil is aware of this request - it came up during our 1099 feedback convo with HSG on Monday 6/17/24.
