Gap/challenge
Audit process may require a full review of invoice approvals
We currently show the approval history on an individual invoice level, however, auditors or internal review may require the ability to see this at a company or customer level
Specific details would include: approver, action, date (including mark approved) and notes
Note from Sophia:
Brightview Technologies asked about pulling reporting on invoices that are manually Mark Approved, for audit purposes.
I think currently the way to see if an invoice was Mark Approved is to go invoice by invoice.
I believe invoice approval history is important for many clients due to controls and to evaluate approval timing which is a KPI some companies are interested in, and also supports the value of Centime vs. their old way.
Need to see the full approval history what we have in the invoice history but exportable at an account level
Ola note:
Tri Delta is client who provides public transportation. Part of their annual audit requires them to provide reporting on all AP invoice approvals that the auditors have to review and confirm. Their process before integrating centime was manual. All AP invoices manually had approvals written on them so they'd just pass those paper invoices to the auditors. With centime now, they are no longer using a paper process for recording approvals.
How can we provide reporting to clients who need this kind of data for audits or even internal review without having to click on each individual invoice history detail?
That said, I think it is important for us to review what kind of reconciliation/audit reports do clients typically need that could be helpful to export out of Centime. This would likely cutdown on a time spent by our clients on gathering data for audits. This is just a thought in addition to the request above on approval logs.
Possible solutions:
Approval history export
Auditor access

Met with client today BrightView Technologies. Dan answered the following:
They have an annual audit - the timing used to vary but going fwd they are aiming for Q2 annually.
They don't currently use a report - their auditors would essentially spot check and verify that the controls are in place. Auditors will pick a payment and say show me where this was approved, & they walk through.
For Dan, export in the format of a report would be nice-to-have feature.
Hello Sophia, would you be able to request a sample report & ask about the frequency for this type of request?
