What is the use case?

  • Being able to key in the payment date from a numeric keypad would save time as opposed to clicking into the calendar.

  • Client Verantos said keying in the date used to be possible for a brief time, is it possible to restart this?
Impact?

Most accounting professionals are used to keying in dates, it makes their work faster when they don't have to leave their keyboard.
Is there a work around?

Yes - they can continue to select the date from the calendar dropdown
Proposed solution?

Allow keying in the payment date via keyboard/numeric keypad.

    @Guest Can you please confirm if my understanding of problem statement is correct - The user wants to update the payment date using the keyword, rather than using the mouse as it is time consuming and they are used to updating dates in this fashion

    Also, wanted to check if updating the payment amount, applying for credits and discounts etc are not a concern currently as they are updated using mouse input or we see a concern here as well for these fields?
