Visibility / Centime notification when an bank account is added so it can be enabled for payments

The more a customer is a full suite customer the more helpful this will be so that we ensure not to miss anything when a bank account is added/replaced.

What is the use case?
  • When a client needs to update their bank account there are no triggers that inform the support team to update the new bank account everywhere - Adyen, FNBO ACH, Check Issuing.

  • Neglecting to update the bank account across all processors results in payment/payout delays and headaches.

  • The act of switching out a bank account is not frequent - a client may do this when there has been actual or suspected fraudulent activity, switching due to preference, etc. - so it's easy to miss steps.

Impact?

The more the client uses Centime's full suite of products the more painful this can be if something is missed by accident as it can result in payment/payout delays and headaches.

Is there a work around?

The CSM/support person needs to remember to update the new bank account cross all payment processors.

A Confluence SOP can be created - work in progress.

Proposed solution?

When a new bank account is added into the UI via Settings > Finicity or via DocuSign, can a Jira ticket be triggered to remind of all the tasks that may need to be completed?

  • Verify the bank account & routing #s from the BO portal with client, in case the FI masked or scrambled the numbers

  • Alert payment processor partners: Adyen, FNBO, Check Issuing.

  • Remind client to set default payment settings in Settings > AP

  • Perhaps the Jira ticket that is triggered should be assigned to Santhosh and the Reporter can be defaulted as CustomerSuccess@centime.com?
